As I mentioned in the Dirt for Trade post in the Offered Goods forum, we are always in search of new soils to work with.  This is especially true of soils from outside the areas we regularly travel in (Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC), particularly from interesting and powerful locations.  In particular at the moment, we are looking for dirt (properly gathered) from:

This is not a complete list, and will change over time.  Please feel free to post the dirts you are seeking in this thread too.

I would also be interested in dirt from Wounded Knee. I would love to go there myself and retrieve it and do hope that anyone that does (I would think this is a given) will give proper respect and Offerings to include a good tobacco, (grown if possible by someone not just something processed in a store with additives) prayers for the Spirits still there and to stop and purchase perhaps a $5 or $10 charm or 2 if approached by any local Tribe members. It's sad if you read the reviews on "Travel websites/blogs" you will see people leaving poor reviews as the Monument isn't "well kept" and the "Locals" often sell their wares or will escort you on a tour for a few bucks. Now, I know my words will not fall upon deaf ears by anyone reading this here on this website, but just in case please know or learn a little about the incident before you go. I don't see any of us in the spiritual community thinking badly of Descendants of the very people who lie beneath that soil but not everyone feels the blood, pain and agony that is still felt by Intergenerational Trauma. Personally, I would be in tears at this site and buying as many items as I could here, but I don't expect everyone to feel as I do about Wounded Knee. I suppose my point in all of this is to have Respect for those Living and Dead at this Site. Again, I'm sure anyone reading this will have it and understand why I say this while some may not fully understand.
